Market entry as one package

Go-to-Market as a Service

Your entire market entry under one contract and with one accountable person – from research to the first signed contracts. You get a sales resource in the DACH region or the Nordics without hiring.

The complete market entry

A go-to-market sales resource – without recruiting

An SME’s market entry project rarely fails because of strategy. It fails because nobody has time to pick up the phone. The market study gets done, the target list gets built – and then it sits in a folder, because your own sales director is busy with the home market.

This service solves that by providing the missing resource as a service. You get a sales and marketing professional who speaks your customers’ language and handles the whole chain: research, target list, outreach, materials, meetings and follow-up. You step in where you are needed – in product discussions and negotiations.

The go-to-market model runs on a monthly basis and adapts to your needs. Early on the focus is on research and materials, later on active sales work.

Go-to-market as a service – planning meeting for market entry

How the programme runs

Five go-to-market phases, one accountable person

Foundation

Market intelligence, pricing logic, target group and target list.

Readiness

Local-language materials, quote template and any required registrations.

Outreach

Active sales work in the customer’s language, meetings and quotes.

Visibility

In parallel: search visibility, LinkedIn, trade media and, where it makes sense, trade fairs.

Handover

In the final phase, customer relationships, processes and data are handed over to you.

The phases overlap and the emphasis depends on your situation. After three months there is a decision point: we review the results together and you decide whether to continue.

Who our go-to-market service is for

  • The product is ready and already sells in your home market
  • The DACH region or a Nordic country has been identified as the most important next market
  • You have no local-language sales resource, and hiring is not on the agenda yet
  • Management has time for negotiations, but not for day-to-day sales work

When to start smaller

  • You don’t know the market yet – start with market research
  • Your margin can’t carry an intermediary and pricing can’t be changed yet
  • Your need is limited to one thing, such as a trade fair or translations

We say this even when it means a smaller invoice for us. See market research if you are not yet sure about the market.

Questions

Frequently asked questions: go-to-market as a service

What does Go-to-Market as a Service actually include?

A combination of market intelligence, building the target list, outreach in the customer’s language, sales material and handling meetings – under one contract and with one accountable person. In practice you get a sales resource in your target market without recruiting.

The content is always built around what you have already done. If your market knowledge is in place, we start straight with outreach.

How is this different from buying the services separately?

In three ways. Responsibility sits with one party, so no phase falls through the cracks. Knowledge flows from one phase to the next – contacts identified during research go straight into outreach. And pricing is monthly, which makes budgeting predictable.

A single service makes sense when the need is clearly limited. This package makes sense when the goal is market entry.

How long is the commitment?

We recommend at least six months, because a B2B sales cycle – in Germany in particular – does not produce measurable results within a few weeks. We stay in close contact throughout and review results regularly, so you always know where things stand and can judge with us whether the direction is right.

Who does the work?

Anna or Constantin, depending on the industry – not a junior team. For questions that require specialist knowledge we bring in a named expert from our network and tell you in advance.

Can the programme be financed with public funding?

The early exploration phase is often eligible. Many national export promotion agencies and regional programmes treat external expert services as eligible costs in their SME instruments. Terms and instrument names change, so check the current criteria with the funding body – we are happy to help scope the project for an application.

What does go-to-market mean in practice for an SME?

Go-to-market is the order of work that brings a product to market: who you sell to, at what price, through which channel and who does the selling. For an SME it means, above all, focus – not everything at once, but one customer segment and one channel at a time.

In practice we first narrow down one segment and test it by contacting suitable companies. If there is demand, we scale up. If not, we switch segments before more budget is spent. That is the whole idea of go-to-market work: find out quickly and affordably what works before building a heavy organisation.
